The Webmiss

My name is Bernadeth. I've been interested in photography when I was around fourteen, by taking sucky self portraits. Since then, I have developed this skill and despite delving into other types of photography, self portraits and portraits have stayed my main interest. I try to take at least one photo everyday, and find inspiration in anything and everything. Do I dazzle you?

First Impression

The layout looks really nice, I love the images and the concept of it. The colors all go very well together. The CSS looks nice. The site itself looks a bit messy, especially the menu. Try organizing it a bit.

Layout

One thing I must mention is that your content is a bit off to the side. The background doesn’t follow up with the main image. The layout is really nice, though. I love that you used images of yourself because it’s sort of a personal touch and it’s very unique. Good job!

CSS

I like it. The CSS matches well with the layout but it’s kind of a letdown, truthfully. The layout is so unique I was expecting something out of the ordinary for the CSS but in your favor I can say that simplicity goes a long way too. I was just expecting a bit more.

Content

Blends: The last two is the only one that I really like. Some of the blending looks weird in most of them. In the Selena one, you could have used the selection tool to blend instead of the eraser. The Hayden Panattierre (sp?) one is really not well blended, you can see the lines of the photos and they’re not well blended. Try looking through my blending tutorial so you can get a better idea of what I’m saying about using the selection tool instead of the eraser. Again, with the Jonas Brother’s blend, I can totally see the lines that separate one photo from the other. The same with the rest. The Vanessa Hudgens’s one is truly amazing! Blank Buttons: Nothing wrong there. Backgrounds: Nothing wrong there either. Celebrity Icons They are amazing! Oh my goodness I love them! Myspce Layouts Nothing wrong there, they are really nice! Friendster Layout The only one that I like is the first one, the others seem boring. Multiply Layouts Nothing wrong there. Downloads: For the downloads, you could try offering brushes, patterns, ect. Myspace I don’t see why you need to relink your myspace layouts. Music Skins They’re really nice! Codes: Nothing wrong there. Comment Boxes Nice! Nothing wrong there.

Tutorials–Photoshop: Nice amount of tutorials, I really like that they are easy and include images. HTML Nothing wrong there. Site Tips Nothing wrong there. Misc Nothing wrong there. Wordpress Nothing wrong there.

Overall

I loved the overall site. I’d suggest to work more on your blends. You have plenty of content but a bit more won’t hurt. Also, the organization on the left menu is essential. I liked the site and how it was eye-friendly. You did good! Congrats!
